Your hottest Erogenous Zone

If I was to tell you that there is one place in the body that will have a profound effect on how hot your sex-life looks, what would you guess it to be?

Here it is……

Your brain. What is happening in that brain of yours before and during sex can be the difference between mind-blowing sex, mediocre sex, or, let’s face it – no sex at all.

The average person in today’s society is generally pretty flat out. Feeling time poor is a very common theme. Feeling stressed has become the standard.

Stress, has a PROFOUND effect on the quality of our sex life. Why?

During times of stress, we begin to function in flight or fight mode. This tells our system that survival takes precedence over procreation. As a result, the body will prioritise the most important functions for survival, like blood flow and increased heart rate, while reducing less essential functions, like sex.

Additionally, if your mind is busy during sex, it’s difficult to focus on your arousal and recognise pleasurable sensations. This can often prevent orgasm from occurring.
Not only that, but chronic stress can cause your body to produce too much of the hormone cortisol, which in turn, lowers your libido.

Luckily, you can do something about this issue. Use techniques in love-making that will bring you back into the present moment (suggestions can be found here), as well as have a healthy outlet for stress, like yoga, meditation and exercise. Taking a bath or shower before love-making can also help relax the body and wash your day away.

And, although it’s natural to have moments or short periods of stress in your life, if stress has become the standard default state for you, perhaps it’s time to make some life-changes. If ever there was a motivation to change, perhaps this is it!

Come join us for the upcoming Sexuality Workshop, for Singles and Couples. We’ll be teaching ancient techniques for mind-blowing sex that can take you right out of your head and into another stratosphere!

Much love,
Emma
